Part 1:

Piece 1:
This art piece was named Museoexclusion Exorcism, and it really stood out to me. It was separated from the other parts of the museum, and had its own room. It stood out to me because of what was on the art piece. It was common things like women’s clothes and text messages from a person. It was kind of crazy seeing something so modern in a museum, but I feel as though the exhibit had its way of connecting to the younger generation.

Piece 2:
This first picture is made by Hung Liu, and this artist uses oil paintings as her type of art. I like how she paints because she has streaks from the oil dripping down. I like this effect, and I think it adds on gloomy vibe to the picture. She does this in all almost all her paintings, and it seems as though it's her signature. I also like the colors that she uses in this painting, which are kind of earthy.

Piece 3:
This exhibits name was called the Pink Lady, and this exhibit really caught my eye. It was in the middle of the room, and it looks kind of strange. There was also a statue of a naked woman behind it, so I felt that the two statues contrasted with each other. This lady is also pink and holding a monkey so it was definitely an eyesore.
Part 2:
I’ve never been to the Oakland Museum before, so it was fun going to a museum again. I really enjoyed my experience, and I plan to go to more museums in the future. I also liked how there were 3 separate parts to the museum and I went to all 3.
